This rare and outstanding Japanese court style tachi is beautiful in every
way.  Its blade is Osuriagi, with 2 holes in its tang.  It is a Koto period

the Imperial Kiri mon and bonji  on its sides.  The cutting edge is 21 5/8
long and the blade is in 95% polish.  The sword’s mounting are late 18th
or early 19th century, all matching and original.  They are of exceptional
